The PFISTERER 400kV Cross-Bonding Joint is a specialized extra high voltage (EHV) solution designed to interconnect XLPE-insulated power cables while enabling proper sheath voltage management. This joint includes provisions for sectionalizing and grounding the metallic screen as per cross-bonding configurations, minimizing circulating currents and ensuring optimal electromagnetic performance.

Engineered for direct burial or tunnel applications, this joint is suitable for large-scale underground transmission projects, especially where electromagnetic interference (EMI) mitigation and system efficiency are critical—such as in PGCB and IPP projects in Bangladesh.
